Man, that was good.Thank you. All right, so basically, we're doing a lotof different stuff, from Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse… And what's interestingabout this is not so much that we're just doing a bunch of cover songs, but it's howTori finds herself in the song, and actually

represents that art with her own touch, herown flair, but to be able to sing in a lot of different styles, because what this doesis to give you a lot of tools for your toolbox for singing. So, we're going to be working upon, actually, some original material, too, so be watching out for that. Anyway, this is KenTamplin Vocal Academy. Do You Hear The People Sing In Hong Kong

Who of us has yet to speak, and know that only we can fend our landé When it's our birthright to have the zeal and the right to decide who would choose a hopeless voiceless stanceé Could any of us have yet to wake, to hear the music of freedom reigné And once provoked, we cannot afford to defy the call of our conscience's chord. Why is our dream still a dream, Pleading for the sanction that's mocking schemeé

Let the truth and lies and the wrongs and rights and the black and white witness for our fight. For the future of the generation, we open our eyes prompt and bright! 'Who Has Yet to Speaké' and know that only we can fend our landé When it's our birthright to have the zeal and the right to decide, who would choose a hopeless voiceless stanceé Could any of us have yet to wake, to hear the music of freedom reigné And once provoked, we cannot afford to defy the call of our conscience's chord. None have the right to indifference, seeing in the twilight each light alights,to enlighten the dark of the night.

Search our hearts and toil our hands to strive to elect our own fate we're intent. We are all that we are, With our duty and liberty to selfdetermine our end. Who of us has yet to speak, and know that only we can fend our landé When it's our birthright to have the zeal and the right to decide, who would choose a hopeless voiceless stanceé Could any of us have yet to wake, to hear the music of freedom reigné And once provoked, we cannot afford to defy the call of our conscience's chord.

Dutch guy speaking Cantonese after 3 months studying for 1 hour per day

Is it better nowé Yes, it's better. OK It's much better now Ok, we will speak for 10 15 minutes, is that oké Yes, that's fine. I haven't prepared any questions Whatever you want If you ask me. I will ask you embarrassing questions

Have you started alreadyé I started two minutes ago already! I didn't know that So what did you ask meé Please say it again For how long have you been learning Cantoneseé I've studied it for 3 months Before these 3 months I studied it only occasionally But you didn't learn it every dayé

Yes, only in the last 3 months I studied every day What are your best languagesé English, Dutch, Mandarin, German. Cantonese. Your Cantonese isn't that good yet. It's so so. Your Mandarin is much better than your Cantonese. Yes. Which other languages do you speak better than Mandariné None. My German is also OK

Is also OK. German, Mandarin, English, Dutch. yes, that's all. German, English, Dutch, Chinese, 4 languages, OK. I do speak Cantonese, Spanish and Indonesian as well. At the moment I am learning Japanese, but I don't speak it very well yet. But those are languages that you are still studying and you don't speak them as well as Mandarin righté Because you speak very fluent Mandarin. That's right, my Mandarin is a bit better. I see There might be people watching that are thinking ''What, being able to chat only after 3 monthsé That must be a joke! Is that realé'' You should tell the people that you learned Mandarin before, so it is right that you could guess the meaning of some wordsé Does it help if you've leanred Mandarin beforeé

Yes, it does When I learn Cantonese and I encounter new words, those are easier for me to. How do you say thaté Yes, then it's easier to rememberé Because I know those words in Mandarin already. Since you know these words in Mandarin already you might just change the sound a little bit to change it to make it sound as Cantonese. So for me learning Cantonese wasn't that difficult Yes, because you know the words in Mandarin already. In Cantonese the word might be slightly different That might help you learning Cantonese words righté

I see. So. So before you didn't study every day but in the last three months you studied every day. How did you studyé Because I use Italki, so I would take classes three times a week You took three classes a week (correction) You took three Cantonese classes a week on Italki But recently I have been traveling a lot and I didn't take classes when I was traveling
