How To Sing Like Your Favorite Artist pt2
Hello, and welcome. I'm Ryan Higa, professional singer and vocalstiloligerizerist. You might remember me from How To Sing Like Your Favorite Artist part 1. Well this one's completely different. It's not as good. With that being said, welcome to How To Sing Like Your Favorite Artist part 2. Remember that scary movie quot; The Grudgequot;é Make the sound that the little girl in quot; The Grudgequot; makes.
(groaning) Just sing like you normally would sing. ♪ When I met you in the summer! ♪ .and add the little Grudge girl sound. ♪ When I met you in the summer. ♪ ♪ To my heartbeat sound. ♪ ♪ We fell in love. ♪ ♪ As the leaves turned brown. ♪
grunting noises In order to sound like The Weekend, you have to literally make your face frozen to the point where it's numb and you can't feel it anymore. ♪ I can't feel my face when I'm with you. ♪ And once you get the frozen face down, all you have to do is act like you're sad and depressed.
♪ I'm just tryna get you out the friend zone. ♪ And if people can't hear you, just use a megaphone. ♪ I only call you when it's half past. ♪ In order to sound like Fetty Wap, just sing as if you just got hit in the nuts. Or for girls to relate, just make the sound you make when you cut wind. You know, when you get the wind knocked out of you, you make the sound that's like stressed inhale and then just sing like that. Fetty Wap.
Auuugh! ♪ Baby won't you come my wayé ♪ grunting You know when you're yawning and you still try to talk; that sound it makesé yawning All you have to do is sing, while you yawn. yawning ♪ You and me we made a vow. ♪
♪ You say I'm crazy. ♪ ♪ And you don't think. ♪ laughing You know when you're a little kid where you're on the verge of crying but you do your best to try and suck it upé You know, the borderline where you're trying to fight back your tears, because you know once you start crying, you're not gonna be able to stop.
Beginners First Guitar Lesson The EASIEST 2 Chords On Guitar
Hi guys! My name's Andy welcome to quot;An Absolute Beginner's 1st Guitar Lesson.quot; Now, I've done of these before, but the idea of my 1st guitar lesson, quot;10 Songs with E A,quot; is that's the easiest thing that we can play on guitar also play 10 songs with it. The idea with this guitar lesson is it's the absolute easiest thing that you can play on acoustic guitar to get your fingers used to this new thing that you're trying to get them to do. Maybe this is the absolute 1st time that you've ever held a guitar before.
You're not happy with any of the things that you've learned already, or you don't think it sounds right. And all I can say to you is, quot; You are not alone!quot; When I first started playing guitar, my brother taught me a couple of chords. He was older than me he played a little bit. And I didn't get any of it! I just thought guitar was the coolest thing in the world, but I thought, 'This is never going to be fore me. It's just, it's just too difficult.' What I want you to do. I implore you, DON'T GIVE UP! Please try this, what I'm about to show you today, which is another 2 chords.
They're the absolute 2 EASIEST chords that we can play on guitar. There's 2 songs that we can play with them, too. 2 parts of songs, anyway. But it at least gets you playing along to me. It gets you playing something that you're happy with, on your own. Let's get you straight in for a closeup have a look at these 2 chords.
Just quickly, before we learn our 1st chord, we're going to make sure our guitar is in tune. So let's play string 6. And it should sound like this *sound* String 5 *sound* String 4 *sound* String 3 *sound* String 2 *sound* And finally, string 1 (the thinnest one) *sound*
If your guitar doesn't sound like that, you're going to need to check out this tuning tutorial (link shown). Or get a guitar tuner, or get a friend to tune your guitar for you. Or you can use the quot;Guitar Tunaquot; app which is a free app, available on iphone. And it's really cool free! So, this is our 1st chord, once your guitar is in tune. This is an E minor,
probably, well it IS the absolute easiest chord to play on guitar, no doubt about it. We have our 1st finger at the 2nd fret of string 5. This (points at string 6) is the thickest string. This (points at string 5) is string 5.
Music Lesson Business Conflicts in Music Lessons
In this clip on creating your own music teachingbusiness I'm going to talk about how to stay how to stay open to growth as a teacher andyet keep your back and be strong about it. You're going to run into situations sometimes, perhaps you work with a thirteenyearold who just has an attitude, and you just donot have a personal rapport for whatever reason. There are times, just not take things personally,it's a tough business, people are fickle, some people are rude, you know, one adultwas so angry with my twentyfour hour cancellation policy that he just stormed out of the lesson. What am I going to do, beat myself up about it. There's just such things as personalityclashes, and it will happen, especially on
a onetoone basis, like a music lesson. Atthe same time, you know, you want to be open, there might be something that you are doingthat's coming off in a rude way. I mean, stay open if you obviously notice a pattern wherehalf of your students get mad at you, maybe you're giving them a sort of attitude or something. So there's a fine balance between being open to growth and being open to your studentsfeedback, and having a bit of a tough skin and saying you know what, if this thirteenyearoldyou know, thinks I suck, then, well that's her opinion. So, it's a tough business, it'sall about personality. Be confident, but be open to criticism if you need to.
