All right, so basically, we're doing a lotof different stuff, from Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse… And what's interestingabout this is not so much that we're just doing a bunch of cover songs, but it's howTori finds herself in the song, and actually

Free typing lessons learn touch typing IN UNDER 5 HOURS With free typing lessons

You're about to learn how to type really fastwithout looking at your keyboard. Touch typing is a techniquewhere you use all ten fingers of your hands to quickly type wordswithout looking at your keyboard. Especially in this computer age it is a verypractical skill. Yet few people take the time to learn it. Now imagine how much time it would save ifyou didn't have to look where the letters are on your keyboard all the time when typing. I estimate that having learned this skillsaves me about four hours every month.

And it is not hard at all.It took me a total of maybe five hours to learn the techniqueAnd a month of just doing it in my daily work, to acquire speed. So how did I do itéI use a free software called Tipp 10. It's under tipp10 The software is from Germany, so by default it will be in German and you can change thelanguages here: there are German, English and Dutch. There is an online version and a softwareversion, but at the time I did the training,

there was only a software version so thisis what I will demonstrate. Choose the software for your system, I'm onWindows, download and install it. Ok, so I now installed the software, but,by if it's in German by default, I will show you how to change the language. on there, and there. Then on here: it means language, change the language to English, the keyboard layout toEnglish (USA), and the language of the lessons to English. And save it here.

Then you have to restart it. Ok, I now restarted it and it is all in English. So let me explain to you what it is about. There are twenty lessons and I recommend doingall of them. I think four minutes will be enough for onelesson. To start a lesson, click on start training. Now, place your left index finger on the fand your right index finger on the j and your thumbs on the space bar.

And hit the space bar to start. Down here you will see instructions on whatfinger to press down, and up here you will see what you have to type. So a is on the left little finger, s is onthe left ring finger, d is on the middle finger f is on the index finger etc. You just type this out, as fast as you can,in the beginning do not hurry! It is important to get the technique rightbefore you can acquire speed. Etc., you knowé

You can save it if you want, and here youhave a small report. After you did this for four minutes, thenI recommend you turn off the assistance. And do the same lesson again. And now you have to do it without help. Andso on. And if you do this for eight minutes everyday, then in twenty days you will be able to type without looking at your keyboard. And this all with less that ten minutes worka day. Okay, so after you've done this twenty dayregimen, you will be able to type without

The Musiah Piano Method Tutorial The Best Way To Learn Piano Keyboard Music Online

applauseHello and welcome. My name is Brendan Hogan. Today in this little session we are goingto talk briefly about the Musiah Teaching Method and in particular how the method appliesto the teaching of note reading. But before we get into it too much, let'sjust look at what is it that we actually teachingé We are basically teaching piano lessons, eventhough we use keyboards for the obvious practical reasons. But what else is there about the method that is uniquely originaléOK well first of all let's have a look at some of the main methods that are known throughoutthe world today.

There are basically three main methods.there's Suzuki, Yamaha and traditional teaching. Now the thing with Suzuki, no disrespect toSuzuki, but in summary it is teaching the kids or adults to play by ear.Yamaha method, again no disrespect to the Yamaha method I'm sure there is more to itthan this, but in summary the gist of Yamaha is it's all about teaching the kids to readthe notes using solfa names DO RE ME FA SO etc.And then of course there is traditional, and by traditional I mean where we actually teachthe kids to read the notes. The thing is, with Suzuki as an example, Iused to leave next door to a young girl in

her teens and she was getting ready for herGrade 8 exam and basically she couldn't play the pieces and she would ask me to come inand actually sight read the pieces for her so she could record them in order to hearhow they sound and then she would essentially learn them for her exam by ear from the tape.So that's just an example of one of the deficiencies of the Suzuku method if it's used in isolation, without at least some exposure to traditional teaching where we learn to read the notes.Yamaha, well you know it's another approach, another valid approach I guess when takenon its own merits. But I have had experience where I've taughtstudents who've learnt with Yamaha for perhaps

three years and they don't know where MiddleC is. They call Middle C quot;DOquot;. And I point to the key and say quot;what's thatnoteéquot; and they'll say quot;oh that's DOquot;. What the Yamaha teachers never seem to teachthe kids is that DO can shift, so for example in the key of C Major, C is DO, but in thekey of G Major G is DO. So it shifts. So there is no such thing as quot;oh Middle C is DOquot;.It's just interesting some of the things you actually see when you come across this variousmethods. So by far out of the three existing wellknownmethods I would say traditional teaching is

the best. However, having learnt traditionally myself, there are some drawbacks even to traditionalteaching. And it's those drawbacks and limitations thatled me to gradually overtime develop the Musiah Teaching Method. When I was a young kid learning piano, I thought I was the only one that had this problem, but basically my left hand was weaker than my right hand.So I was a little bit stronger, more confident at reading and playing with the right handthen with the left hand. And then as I got to know other students asI, you know, mingled with them in music school

and so on, I found that some of them had thesame problem. And over the last 17 years as owneroperatorof Australia's largest inschool keyboard music program, I found that many of the kidsthat were being taught through our program also had a similar issue. And in fact so had many of the teachers. So basically it seems to be the case that95 percent of students all over the world from Ireland to Australia and everywhere inbetween have this funny little thing, which is a deficiency in the left hand. Why is thaté The answer is surprisingly simple. It's basically the way they're being taught. You know it comes down to even otherwise good,
