Man, that was good.Thank you. All right, so basically, we're doing a lotof different stuff, from Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse… And what's interestingabout this is not so much that we're just doing a bunch of cover songs, but it's howTori finds herself in the song, and actually

represents that art with her own touch, herown flair, but to be able to sing in a lot of different styles, because what this doesis to give you a lot of tools for your toolbox for singing. So, we're going to be working upon, actually, some original material, too, so be watching out for that. Anyway, this is KenTamplin Vocal Academy. Now we are going to show you some more righthand stuff for the key of C. We are going to go back to the major progression doinga 1, 6, 2, 5 and we are just going to really focus on the right hand. Now when you aregoing to make melodies, it is all about space and timing so see I have the same quality but it is looping.Leave a little space, a little more space and it is the space and time you get in betweennotes that really gives the importance. Now here some people who try to improvise andah and it is lot of notes and it sounds nice but there is no umph to it. You know it doesn'thave the soul so you want to really the more

simple you can make it the better. A littlechromatics there. I like to use a lot of pentatonics too which is 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 gives it that nicehappy overtone. You can put flat third in there, Blues note. So in the key of C, youcan see the Blues notes are these notes right here. It's half of the root of 2 and the bottomof the group of three.
