How To Sing Like Your Favorite Artist pt2
Hello, and welcome. I'm Ryan Higa, professional singer and vocalstiloligerizerist. You might remember me from How To Sing Like Your Favorite Artist part 1. Well this one's completely different. It's not as good. With that being said, welcome to How To Sing Like Your Favorite Artist part 2. Remember that scary movie quot; The Grudgequot;é Make the sound that the little girl in quot; The Grudgequot; makes.
(groaning) Just sing like you normally would sing. ♪ When I met you in the summer! ♪ .and add the little Grudge girl sound. ♪ When I met you in the summer. ♪ ♪ To my heartbeat sound. ♪ ♪ We fell in love. ♪ ♪ As the leaves turned brown. ♪
grunting noises In order to sound like The Weekend, you have to literally make your face frozen to the point where it's numb and you can't feel it anymore. ♪ I can't feel my face when I'm with you. ♪ And once you get the frozen face down, all you have to do is act like you're sad and depressed.
♪ I'm just tryna get you out the friend zone. ♪ And if people can't hear you, just use a megaphone. ♪ I only call you when it's half past. ♪ In order to sound like Fetty Wap, just sing as if you just got hit in the nuts. Or for girls to relate, just make the sound you make when you cut wind. You know, when you get the wind knocked out of you, you make the sound that's like stressed inhale and then just sing like that. Fetty Wap.
Auuugh! ♪ Baby won't you come my wayé ♪ grunting You know when you're yawning and you still try to talk; that sound it makesé yawning All you have to do is sing, while you yawn. yawning ♪ You and me we made a vow. ♪
♪ You say I'm crazy. ♪ ♪ And you don't think. ♪ laughing You know when you're a little kid where you're on the verge of crying but you do your best to try and suck it upé You know, the borderline where you're trying to fight back your tears, because you know once you start crying, you're not gonna be able to stop.
Free typing lessons learn touch typing IN UNDER 5 HOURS With free typing lessons
You're about to learn how to type really fastwithout looking at your keyboard. Touch typing is a techniquewhere you use all ten fingers of your hands to quickly type wordswithout looking at your keyboard. Especially in this computer age it is a verypractical skill. Yet few people take the time to learn it. Now imagine how much time it would save ifyou didn't have to look where the letters are on your keyboard all the time when typing. I estimate that having learned this skillsaves me about four hours every month.
And it is not hard at all.It took me a total of maybe five hours to learn the techniqueAnd a month of just doing it in my daily work, to acquire speed. So how did I do itéI use a free software called Tipp 10. It's under tipp10 The software is from Germany, so by default it will be in German and you can change thelanguages here: there are German, English and Dutch. There is an online version and a softwareversion, but at the time I did the training,
there was only a software version so thisis what I will demonstrate. Choose the software for your system, I'm onWindows, download and install it. Ok, so I now installed the software, but,by if it's in German by default, I will show you how to change the language. on there, and there. Then on here: it means language, change the language to English, the keyboard layout toEnglish (USA), and the language of the lessons to English. And save it here.
Then you have to restart it. Ok, I now restarted it and it is all in English. So let me explain to you what it is about. There are twenty lessons and I recommend doingall of them. I think four minutes will be enough for onelesson. To start a lesson, click on start training. Now, place your left index finger on the fand your right index finger on the j and your thumbs on the space bar.
And hit the space bar to start. Down here you will see instructions on whatfinger to press down, and up here you will see what you have to type. So a is on the left little finger, s is onthe left ring finger, d is on the middle finger f is on the index finger etc. You just type this out, as fast as you can,in the beginning do not hurry! It is important to get the technique rightbefore you can acquire speed. Etc., you knowé
You can save it if you want, and here youhave a small report. After you did this for four minutes, thenI recommend you turn off the assistance. And do the same lesson again. And now you have to do it without help. Andso on. And if you do this for eight minutes everyday, then in twenty days you will be able to type without looking at your keyboard. And this all with less that ten minutes worka day. Okay, so after you've done this twenty dayregimen, you will be able to type without
Lesson 1 The Grand Staff Free Beginner Piano Lessons Year 1 Lesson 11
welcome to piano tutorial lessons year onelesson one. The best way to experience these lessons is on my website pianotutoriallessons there you'll find the complete lesson index and printables. In this series of lessons were moving on from the beginner lessons we learned toplay piano without reading music. In this series we're going to be learning toplay piano while reading on the staff. In order to complete this lesson it'simportant that you know two things you must know it's all the piano key names andalso your piano finger numbers so before embarking upon at this Year One seriesof lessons it's a very good idea to go
back and check those two lessons whichI have already taught in the beginner piano course you can click appear in thecorner and check the information cards for all of the links that I'll bementioning in this tutorial. So, let's get started. In order to play music we aregoing to be reading music on the staff and we're gonna be reading notes and anote can be represented with just a circle that's the most basic form ofnote and we'll call that a whole note so in order to read those notes we need tounderstand a little bit about the piano itself
Piano notes are sounds of course but they can berepresented visually with these notes and sometimes the sound goes higher andsometimes the sound goes lower if you think about a bird in a tree youcan remember that notes that move up to the right are called high notes and ifyou think of something low on the ground like maybe elephants or a sharkunderwater these are the low notes on the piano so anytime I refer to highnotes I'm talking about notes that are to the right and if I'm talking about lownote I'm talking about notes that are to the left. So if I visually representthese notes as high and low that helps
us understand a little bit about the waythe staff works so let's have a look at the concept of the staff because this iswhere we're going to be reading the music. Here you can see a staff it'sactually two separate quot;stavesquot; that's the plural for staff. There is onestaff at the top and the staff is these five lines and this set of five lines isfor the right hand and this set of five lines, the lower set, is for the left handso each hand is going to be reading its own staff. At the beginning of thestaff there are some symbols. This symbol is called the treble clef. If youare going to tune the sound on your
stereo and you wanted to adjust the highsounds you would adjust the treble on your stereo so this treble clef is theway we represent the highest sounds on the on the staff for piano we usuallyplay these sounds with the right hand because it is convenient and we can alsoplay these sounds with the left hand because it's very possible. But, ingeneral, and for getting started we're going to think about using this trebleclef on the top staff for the right hand. If you are going to tune your stereo toadjust the low sounds you would adjust the bass on your on your car stereo andso bass means low sounds and low isn't
this direction so in order to representthese notes on a staff with only five lines we could put them all on thistreble staff we needed another staff so we have this bass staff with a bassclass at the beginning. so if I move down into this range here Iusually use my left hand and so the lower staff will represent lefthandnotes, especially at the beginning but the right hand can play in this area sodon't get it in your mind that bass staff is always for left hand. The LOWstaff is the lefthand staff and the HIGH staff is the right hand staff.Awesome! So that helps under help you
